What was once a fairly easy search has proved to be increasingly difficult, if not impossible, during the past year or so: finding a property for those clients who wanted a brand new home for less than $200,000 close to the Disney theme parks. Single family (“detached”) homes with a pool, in communities where short-term renting is allowed, are now around the $300,000 level or more and builders have focused on large 4 and 5 bedroom town homes which have starting prices not too far below the $300,000 level.
There is however one community that is thriving and we’ve just added some details to our web site here. Prices currently start at less than $200,000 for a 3 bed 3 bath 1500 square feet new town home and, not surprisingly, the builder is having a busy time meeting demand.
